Most privacy policies are longer than the Constitution. Ours isn't.
We collect nothing. Zero. Niks. Nada. Your browsing data stays on your device, where it belongs.
None. Seriously. The extension runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server, ever. We couldn't spy on you even if we wanted to (which we don't).
deANCify uses chrome.storage.sync solely to save your two toggle preferences:
That's it. These preferences sync across your Chrome/Edge browsers via your own browser account. We never see them.
None. No Google Analytics. No tracking pixels. No fingerprinting. No cookies. We know less about you than your neighbour's security guard.
We use zero third-party services. No ads. No affiliate links. No data brokers. The extension loads a single bundled JSON file with place name mappings. That's the entire technology stack.
deANCify makes zero network requests. All name data is bundled with the extension. Your browsing activity never leaves your device.
If we ever change this policy (unlikely, since there's nothing to change), we'll update this page and the extension listing. But honestly, "we collect nothing" is a hard policy to make more complicated.
Questions about our privacy practices? Reach us via the extension's store listing page. It'll probably be the shortest privacy conversation you've ever had.
